Vanteon Selected for Retail Security Mobile App Development

Fairport, New York (November 17, 2015) Vanteon Corporation, an electronic systems design and engineering company, has been awarded an engineering contract for the development of Windows 10 and iOS 9 mobile tablet applications for a new retail security system.

This new Vanteon client has years of expertise in providing physical security devices that allow retailers to display high value items in open, client accessible locations. The products provide both security and power to consumer electronics to support an unattended product display experience. This retail security industry leader looked to Vanteon to develop the mobile application software and the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) control firmware for their system.

Vanteon’s significant base of software engineering skills includes development of numerous mobile applications running on Windows, iOS and Android based tablets and smart phones. Engineering for the mobile device platform has been an increasing segment of Vanteon’s 30 year history of helping companies diversify and grow their product portfolios through expert consulting services.
