Vanteon Branding – Wireless Solutions

Fairport, NY (May 17, 2018)  – Fairport, NY. Vanteon announces a change in the company brand from the generic “Vanteon Electronic Design” to a more focused “Vanteon Wireless Solutions”. The change in branding is more of a formalization of a trend that has already been slowly occurring for more a decade, rather than an actual change in direction.

Although the Vanteon business model has always been and continues to be focused on design services, the shift in branding incorporates an adjustment to the model that includes more recently developed Intellectual Property (IP) to facilitate the invention of optimized solutions to wireless problems encountered so frequently in the modern connected world. The Internet of Things (IoT) revolution has sparked a need for companies of every industry to reimagine their own solutions. “The change in branding focus is actually just a response to our client needs as everyone scrambles to get their devices connected to other devices and the internet” says Aaron Roof, Chief Technology Officer of Vanteon. Vanteon’s new IP is targeted primarily towards solving the connection problems of many markets including Industrial, Medical, Military, and more. The IP includes hardware, firmware, software, and FPGA cores in the areas of Software Defined Radio (SDR), low power / low cost custom radios, as well as standards based wireless technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Cellular and more.

The change in branding to “Vanteon Wireless Solutions” does not mean that Vanteon will only provide solutions that require wireless, on the contrary, many other generic technologies are crucial in the development of IoT and wireless solutions such as power, digital and FPGA design, analog and high frequency/high speed design, and these will continue to be offered as general purpose services to current and future Vanteon clients.
