Message from our CEO – April 2021

We have come to the end of the first quarter of 2021 already.  It is hard to believe how fast time flies. Covid is still a thing.  It is affecting our lives in just about every way possible.  This past quarter, we had the dubious one-year anniversary of its inception.  We now have access to vaccines, and hopefully, we will begin to see an end to the COVID-related restrictions that have hampered our lifestyles and businesses for so long.

We had a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel recently as we hosted several clients in our new location. Many companies are still restricting travel and visits, but it is starting to loosen up. We want to invite our customers, vendors, and other partners to come check out our new facility.

Like many small businesses, we struggled through the middle of last year. We have been blessed to have been able to weather the storm of 2020 and finished the year strong. Our strong performance at the end of the year and in this first quarter of 2021 is the result of an amazing team of engineers and support staff. They have gone above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs in this crisis.

Our sales team and the project managers are both doing a great job of securing more work for us.  Current customers continue to use our services for repeat projects, and new customers are recognizing our wireless capabilities due to our IP and partnerships.

As CEO, one of the hardest parts of my job on a daily basis is trying to balance our service business with our IP development efforts. IP requires a lot of effort to not only design and create, but to test and tune.  In 2020, we were able to successfully develop our vNassa and vProtean platforms.  In this first quarter, a lot of focus has been on productizing this technology. We are happy to report that sales of kits and production units have commenced. In addition, we have recently entered into a distribution agreement with Richardson RF to market, sell, distribute and support our vProtean IP.

All of this points to a bright future.  Although we are only through the first quarter, our business is healthy, and our IP is gaining more notoriety every day. In addition to the deep gratitude we have for our employees; we also want to thank our customers, vendors, and partners. 2020 was a rough year for all of us.  But, we have weathered it and look forward to growing our relationships as business picks up in 2021.
