Vanteon Awarded Contract For Android Honeycomb System Development

Rochester, New York (May 10, 2011) Vanteon Corporation, an electronic systems design and engineering company, has been awarded a contract to develop a fundamental application architecture based upon Android Honeycomb for use in commercial products slated for worldwide installation.

The development project includes a custom board support package for the android platform, applications architecture design, and creation of the first application written specifically for that environment.

Collaborative development of advanced electronic systems and provision of software and testing services for commercial products are Vanteon’s core competencies. The Company also participates in industry initiatives for the development and evolution of wireless communications platforms. The combination of industry expertise and engineering skills has led to a continuum of projects delivered to major product companies.
