Vanteon Delivers Products Based on vImpulse™ Radio IP
Fairport, NY (November 21, 2016) – Vanteon is pleased to announce first deliveries of pre-production quantities of their vImpulseTM micro-power long range wireless radio transceiver. The radios, based on Vanteon’s vImpulseTM intellectual property (IP) platform, were shipped to a client who is actively incorporating them in a high-reliability wireless remote controller application. The pre-production units will be followed with volume production deliveries from Vanteon beginning in Q1 2017.
Recently, Vanteon has added several internally developed intellectual property platforms to its list of offerings, and now, products for direct sale that use the IP. Vanteon’s IP is designed to be easily configured for product applications, with the vImpulseTM radio modules representing an example where the hardware design was usable ‘as-is’ with a small amount of software configuration specific to the client’s application.
The vImpulseTM transceiver boards are available now for direct purchase as a product from Vanteon, or the IP can readily be tailored into a custom solution by Vanteon’s team of RF, embedded hardware and software design engineers.
