Vanteon Expands its Role in Medical Device Software and Systems Quality Assurance Testing

Rochester, NY (November 15, 2011) Vanteon Corporation has been issued a follow-on contract for Quality Assurance testing of a new drug delivery pump in the final stages of development by an industry leading medical device manufacturer. Vanteon’s successful completion of similar QA work for this client has resulted in this expanded work, which includes generation of new test protocols and unit tests, as well as test execution, reporting, and regression.

Vanteon, an electronic systems design and engineering company, maintains an independent Quality Assurance arm. The department provides a unique ability to offer Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for internally completed designs as well as those developed by outside clients. Based on the ever-increasing demands for medical devices that have software dependencies, IV&V is a growing segment within the larger electronic design services business at Vanteon.
