Vanteon Participates in ADI 2018 FAE Training Symposium
Fairport, NY (July 3, 2018) – Fairport, NY. Vanteon traveled to Orlando Florida to participate in the Analog Devices 2018 FAE Training Symposium. Vanteon was an exhibitor and presenter at the event which hosts Analog Devices (ADI) FAEs from around the world to learn about the latest technologies ADI has to offer. This is the first full FAE Training Symposium since the merger with Linear Technology.
In the RadioVerse track at the event, Aaron Roof, Vanteon’s Chief Technology Officer, presented during a session on Software Defined Radio in IIoT. The specific topic was “IIoT Applications Using SDR to Obtain Extremely Low Power Endpoints”. The new Vanteon vChameleonTM SDR platform was demonstrated in the session as a multichannel collector for extremely low power narrowband IIoT endpoints. vChameleonTM is the first truly low cost SDR to be introduced by Vanteon within the family. vChameleonTM continues in the tradition of the other Vanteon SDR platforms using the high performance combination of Analog Devices RF transceivers (AD93xx) and Xilinx Zynq SoC along with a performance enhancing RF front end to increase output power, selectivity, and receive noise figure.
Vanteon was also invited to show during the expo as an Analog Devices partner. Vanteon has been a long standing close partner with Analog Devices and considered the go-to partner for Software Defined Radio design services and other wireless technologies utilizing Analog Devices components such as RadioVerse transceivers. In addition to Vanteon’s own intellectual property, Vanteon has designed many other custom SDR’s for clients using the RadioVerse devices.
