Vanteon Wins Follow-on Contract for Aviation Rotorcraft Electronics

Rochester, New York (August 22, 2013) Vanteon Corporation, an electronic systems design and engineering company, has been awarded a follow-on contract for the design updates, prototyping and first production efforts for an aviation data acquisition and processing board. This return engagement is with a client for whom Vanteon has previously provided successful designs with a large installed base of systems.

The Vanteon designs are used in a series of scalable monitoring systems for rotorcraft that perform vibration acquisition and processing by acquiring accelerometer, tachometer and track data. The scope of this new project is to increase the number of channels for vibration acquisition and to add additional processor power and memory for improved data processing.

Nick Oddo, Sr. Project Manager at Vanteon, states, “The ability to tailor our engineering and project management process has allowed for efficient integration with this valued client’s product team. The end results are high quality, cost effective solutions and an ongoing relationship for continued product improvement.”
