Vanteon Receives New Contract for Maritime Video Processor
Rochester, New York (August 1, 2012) Vanteon Corporation, an electronic systems design and engineering company, has been awarded a contract for the design, prototyping and first production efforts of a Video Processor used in a maritime remote sensor data collection and display application. This return engagement is with a client for whom Vanteon has provided several successful designs over the past six years.
Vanteon’s work involves the selection and design integration of high sensitivity low noise video amplifiers, analog to digital conversion, digital processing via an on-board FPGA, and an array of outputs ranging from analog audio to high speed digital data. This mixed-signal design will showcase Vanteon’s strengths in both the analog video and digital signal processing domains, using the very latest technologies to provide a solution that will expand the client’s electronic product portfolio to address a wider range of sensor data collection and processing needs.
Joe Burke, CEO at Vanteon, states, “Repeat business with our clients is a number one priority for us at Vanteon. We are proud to be able to offer new technology solutions to clients who we’ve developed long-standing relationships with. This project embodies those qualities, and we’re thrilled to be serving the ongoing needs of this valued client.”
